IMG is Dubai’s largest indoor theme park divided into 7 adventure zone including Marvel and Cartoon Network. The destination features roller coasters, thrill rides, and other attractions based on popular Cartoon Network characters, iconic Marvel Super Heroes and animatronic dinosaurs.
Challenge
With the increasing footfall to the theme park, client wanted to introduce online reservation system for its patrons. Apart from the booking function and option to generate multiple promo codes with different terms and conditions, the system needed to be integrate with the barcodes generated by the client’s internal accounting system. The efficiency of integrating the internal system with the reservation systems and the ease of use for the team was of utmost importance.
Solution
We developed an easy to use bespoke reservation system serving multiple users with defined roles. Requirements of all the different departments were analysed to make the system as efficient as possible. The excels generated by the accounts department can be uploaded with specified parametres in one click. The business development department can manage the different promotions, their terms & conditions, validity, special features, images, mail content etc. The Accounts department can access and manage the reports, refunds and other related processes while the top management can easily view the reports which helps in making business decisions.
The front end ticket booking system has been created keeping in mind simple UX and UI, ensuring a seamless experience for the visitors.
